Early Training and Education

With unwavering support from her parents, Y. Veerabhadra Rao and Y. Eshwari Bai, she embarked on a path that would lead her to become a beacon of excellence in Kuchipudi. Under the guidance of esteemed gurus like Smt. Srivani and Guru Venkata Ramana at the Mayura Academy in Hyderabad, India, Saritha commenced her training at a tender age, laying the foundational stones for her future success.

H er commitment to Kuchipudi spurred her to pursue higher education in the field, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Performing Arts (Kuchipudi Dance) from the University of Hyderabad in 1997. Under the tutelage of renowned gurus such as Dr. Sri Nataraja Ramakrishna and Dr. PSR Appa Rao, Saritha’s performances have mesmerized audiences across continents, from India to the USA and Australia, where she showcased the elegance and charm of Kuchipudi to diverse audiences.

Despite achieving success in her career in IT SAP and obtaining academic accolades such as a Master of Professional Accounting from Central Queensland University, Australia, her passion for dance remained steadfast. In a testament to her dedication and love for Kuchipudi, she founded the Natyasadhana Academy of Indian Dance in Holly Springs, North Carolina, where she has been imparting her expertise and passion for the past decade.
